Yellow - week of 9/30 Deputy Dan Gets His Man

Deputy Dan seems to take everything literally. That means he does exactly what is said to him (Can you stamp the letters - and he stomps on the letters - remember that part?) What has been something funny that Deputy Dan has done in this story? Please use details in you answer.

    It was really funny when Deputy Dan opened the fridge and put the teapot on his head. When his boss really told him to give the tea to his boss. It was super duper funny at that time in the book. It was great!

    I think that was funny too Nella! I also liked the part where he stomped on the papers. I also think that the part where he put the worthless pebbles in the golden nuggets bag and the golden nuggets in the worthless pebbles bag was kind of funny.

    I think the funniest was when the robber said I am not afraid of bears and lions. But bugs I'm afraid of.

    I loved when Deputy Dan puts the kettle on his head. I also think it was funny when deputy Dan stomped on the letters.

    I like when Deputy Dan imagined that he was putting boards on the train. But his boss meant get on the train. And it was funny when shooting Sam was not afraid of a lion or bear but he was afraid of a bug.

      I thought that part was funny too.I also liked when his boss said i feel like a cup of tea.Instead he put the teacup on his head.
